Too Good To Be True

Man at Work

Network Marketing – the money, the lifestyle, the freedom – it’s all too good to be true… That’s why people run for cover when you mention MLM. Bam! That nugget zapped me like a blast from a 9mm semi-auto. Just one of the random thoughts that explode in my brain like popcorn when I travel and have fun. And man was I having fun last weekend!

Struggle is Optional

I was in Vegas at the Red Rock Resort for Marshall Sylver’s mind expanding First Million seminar. It’s one of those you-have to-be-there-to-get-it courses Two days of belly laughs and quantum learning.

Marshall Sylver, aka The Millionaire Maker, is a hypnotist who’s out to “ruin you.” Don’t worry. That’s a good thing. He lobs landmines into your subconscious that blow your fear based notions about life and money to smithereens. In other words, he wakes you up.

The thing is, most people wanna stay asleep. Their trance tells them that life’s gotta be a struggle. Money is scarce and hard to make. If something seems too good, it can’t possibly be true. Yada-yada-yada. Funny? On one level, yeah. To my mind it’s sad. People will die defending beliefs that keep them stuck, broke, and sick.

Ruined!

Marshall Sylver believes, and I do too, that all of life is a trance. Scary? No. It’s liberating – if you choose your trance wisely. Bottom line – you only have two choices. You choose your trance, or your trance chooses you.

What is a trance? It’s a half-conscious state, like a dream or a reverie (pleasantly lost in one’s own thoughts). I know, I know. We like to think of ourselves as sharp and alert. The truth is, the best of us are a bit like automatons. Some people are bonafide zombies.

You couldn’t function without beliefs. Beliefs are thoughts. They’re not true; they’re not false. They just are. They only have the meaning you give them. Most of us create meanings that get us through the day without a major meltdown. You set your beliefs like you set cruise control. Then you can move around without effort. That’s safe; that’s comfortable; that’s trance.

The norm is to set your trance for survival. But what happens when you long for something more, when your deep desires start to burn, when your dreams demand a life of their own?

You can stay in your familiar trance and live your “life of quiet desperation.” Or, you can take responsibility and create a trance that empowers you. A trance that shatters all your boundaries. A trance that forces you to stand up, stand out and be seen.

People may laugh when you do. They may criticize you. Can you handle it? If your answer is , “Yes!” you can have anything you want. Romance. Adventure. Wealth.

I’ve just described the trance of the successful Network Marketer. I know because I live in that trance. It’s delicious. Life is easy. Life is fun. There’s no line between my work and play. Money flows to me constantly. Why wouldn’t it? It’s an energy that I attract.

Sexy Food

I feel blessed. I never have to plan a vacation. My life is one long luxury vacation. Check out the photos in this post. Does it look like I’m struggling? I’ve gotta smile when I think that I was learning and earning big bucks while standing in a luscious pool under a Vegas sun.

Too good to be true? Depends on your trance.

    Hello Louis!
Great post! I remember my first Marshal Sylver encounter about 15 years ago, he was thinner and had hair back then but WOW, he is the master of persuasion and could sell Ice to an eskimo! I really like the mob theme you’ve got going on! best of things to come for you!
    Keep up the good work!

Hi Louis, love what you have to say and also love and respect your attitude… Some people may or may not like what you or I do and to me that is okay… I am on the path where I believe I belong and refuse to sway in an opposite direction to satisfy another who just cant understand my ambition in life… What is right for one may never work for the other and so on and so on… Yadda, yadda, yadda… I look forward to getting to know you better and reading your posts. I can be found in a couple different places if you want to see who I am

beliefs are truly the center of our action creation! without beliefs we would very likely just be lost in life! belief creates a vision, creates motivation that is absolutely necessary to move forward…

we should get detached from anything that isn’t important for us, for anything that is bothering us… don’t let it affect us!!!

this post just enormously strengthened my beliefs!!!

    thanks a ton for sharing!

i wish you a very successful week!

Hey Louis, I love the way you write, really gets you in and I can feel your energy from the UK brother!

Looks like you had a ball over in Vegas! It’s on my list of places to go as is New York!

What you said about the two choices is awesome, it’s a perfect way to look at it! I mean how long are we here for? What have we to lose by choosing to live abundantly?! The sooner people understand that we are actually here to live that way, the sooner it will flow into their lives!

    Stay Cool Louis!

Thanks for posting this blog. I have been hypnotized many times to get rid of the “stuff” that was holding me back. It works! Now, I’m in the “trance” of the Law of Attraction because I know it works. It is so great that you shared your experience with us. Thanks for this encouraging blog.

    Hi Louis,

Thanks for sharing your amazing experiences and the impressions from Vegas. I like the idea of life being a trance and that it’s about making a choice, because if we don’t make a choice, the choice is already made, isn’t it? Great also the attitude regarding about beliefs: They just are. It reminds me of Robert Kiyosaki’s definition of money: “Money is just money.” It’s neither good nor bad and certainly not the root of all evil. It’s just money.

Have a great weekend anyway ;-)

    Take care
